Omnilux™
The Medical Spa at PRO Sports Club leads the industry in offering Omnilux™, an acne therapy which uses blue/red LED light technology to treat the face, chest, back and arms. This breakthrough solution uses high intensity blue LEDs to destroy bacteria and stimulate cell growth and red LEDs to decrease inflammation. Inflammatory acne lesions are cleared in just eight 20-minute sessions, performed twice a week for four weeks. Unlike topical therapies (which can often cause redness, irritation, peeling and scarring) or oral therapies (which may create even more side effects), Omnilux™ treatments are simple and fast with no side effects or downtime. As an added advantage, this treatment can also be combined safely with other medications.
Medlite Photoacoustic Acne Therapy
Acne and acne scars can now be improved with the versatile Medlite Therapy. This is a simple and rapid treatment providing efficacy with no downtime. Acne scarring is easily reduced by the increase in reproduction of outer skin cells creating a bright, clear, and even skin tone. An average session lasts 5-10 minutes, four to six treatments performed every two to three weeks.

Acne Scar Treatments
Our skin is a seamless organ, like a fine piece of cloth cloaking valuable assets. Throughout our lives, we will have experiences that nip and tear at our skin, either self-inflicted, or completely out of our control. Any burn, injury, surgery or other trauma to it can cause the formation of scar tissue that can be cosmetically displeasing. A scar isn't a problem if it's small or in a location that's easy to conceal. But often you want a way to treat those scars other than hiding them under clothing. At the Medical Spa, we offer several methods that can help reduce the size and appearance of scars.
Surgical removal or treatment
If you've recently undergone plastic, cosmetic or other surgery that has caused your scars, it is best that you wait at least one year before making a decision about scar treatment. Many scars fade and become less noticeable over time. If fading does not occur after a year, then surgical scar revision is an option.
Injections
In the case of protruding scars such as keloids or hypertrophic, your doctor may elect to use steroid injections. He or she may use this as a stand-alone treatment, or in conjuction with other treatments. Other types of injects, such as collagen injections or other "fillers", are useful for some types of pitted acne scarring.
Laser Resurfacing
If scars are diffusely distributed over your face or other region of skin, resurfacing the area with our fractionated CO2 laser is an excellent treatment option.
Rosacea Treatment
We employ several methods of treatment to successfully treat Rosacea, a common pattern of redness on the face.
Skin Cancer Screening
Our Dermatologist and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner routinely perform skin cancer screenings. If a screening reveals a suspicious growth, it can be sampled and removed with minimal or no residual blemish.
Precision Wart & Mole Removal
Cosmetically displeasing moles on the face or body can be precisely removed with a minimal residual blemish. Warts are a common skin growth that can arise at any age. We remove warts with a variety of safe and swift techniques.
